Although our Android user base is smaller, when designing an experience, consider how it will work on Android, especially for international markets.
Material design guidelines and patterns are ok to break when there is a valid reason (i.e. failed usability test, winning A/B experience, or a pattern does not make sense for our members).
Material design should be complimentary to Weight Watchers’ design. Our members should feel like they are in the Weight Watchers ecosystem, while still feeling comfortable on an Android.
